  2. Selecting and purchasing IT equipment.
  3. Installing new equipment and software.
  4. Setting up both wireless and cable based computer networks
  5. Setting up and configure wireless security to stop unauthorised access to your Broadband connection or private internal network.
  6. Setting up Intranets and document sharing systems.
  7. Installing Windows and Exchange Mail Servers
  8. Supporting Windows, Apple and Linux based operating systems
IT Support services can be provided on an ad-hoc basis at a set hourly rate or you can sign up to our new Greener IT support contract.
 
The Greener IT Support Contract package consists of:
  1. Free telephone support (Within office hours) up to a maximum amount of 10 hours per organisation, per month.
  2. Installation and configuration of free energy saving and management software.
  3. Free 1 hour Green IT energy assessment
  4. 1 x checklist and guidance document on Greener ways to use Computers
  5. 1 x Standard Greener IT policy document template and wording to add to existing environmental plan
  6. Reduced hourly call-out rate.
  7. Regular work reports
  8. Link from Green IT company website client page.
  9. £5 donation from every contract to Computer Aid International.
