Green Ergonomic Office Chair
I searched high and low for a new office chair as my back was really starting to ache given all the new projects we've had coming. Nothing worse than a bad chair if you're working at the desk most of the day. Although, its always a good idea to take your breaks and go for a brisk stroll or walk.
I found quite a few chairs, but most of them where either made of oil based products or just didnt look right or where not very ergonomic.
Finally I found a chair that seemed to have it all. The Trannon C12 Active Chair came up trumps as it is made of local wood, UK sourced materials, and made using traditional steam bending techniques by a local carpenter & furniture maker. The designer, David Colwell is a fantastic designer has created this chair with ergonomics and the environment in mind. The chair is not cheap, but they don't churn out units and each one is handmade.
The cost of the chair is £710, whoah! i hear you say, but compare this with other good ergonomic chaors on the market and you'll see that they are all around this price or more. However no others i could find were made of such lovely natural materials.
The chair can be adjusted well and has really helped my back, so really what price for comfort. I for one am so pleased with this chair and can thoroughly recommend them.
